I came to participate in KITF and stayed at Kazzhol for four and a half days. The room was spotless and the night receptionist and bartender, Sergei, were incredibly hospitable. The staff at the reception were helpful and polite, always with a smile. The hotel's location is excellent with great connectivity. The female team at the hotel and restaurant were pleasant and efficient. The restaurant had delicious food and the swimming pool and sauna were a nice added touch.
Would recommend this hotel.

Nice breakfast
As usual in Central Asia, a very hard bed. Not comfortable. Internet didn't work on my laptop for one day: When I asked about it, one of the staff members was quite rude.

Hotel is pleasant, and fairly clean, there's well-maintained pool and the location is favourable to the Tien Shan mountains. The venue has new-fashioned and spotless rooms with 2 televisions, a balcony, a view on mountains. Excellent staff provides a friendly service.

I chose this hotel for attending a forum and was pleased with the event facilities provided. The conference center and meeting room were well-equipped, making it convenient for business activities. The hotel also had a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk, which added to the convenience of my stay.
The only service that I missed for my work was the lack of a dedicated workspace in the room. It would have been helpful to have a desk or a designated area where I could comfortably work on my laptop and attend to my business needs.

Hotel staff tried their best to help as and when needed. Wifi worked well. Swimming pool not bad.
Just like other hotels in Almaty, it is also an expensive hotel compared to other tourist destinations. Vaule for money very poor. Air conditioner was constantly making noise, and the technician said thats how it is elsewhere in the hotel. The mattress was also not very comfortable.

I really loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was elegant and had a touch of traditional Kazakh design, which made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself.
I would have preferred if the children working there were more attentive and considerate towards the needs of senior guests.

Comfortable and quiet room.
The hotel had not replied to two e-mails I sent regarding pick-up from the airport. Therefore, I did not know if there would be someone to pick me up or not. In fact, there was, but I'd already taken a private taxi. Some of the reception staff did not seem to know what they were doing and were flustered (e.g. at check-out).

Location is good, security generally good and the rooms are clean and well-appointed. Breakfast is good compared to other hotels in this price range.
Staff were generally rude and unhelpful - I felt as if any request that I made (a password for wifi, for example) was a terrible chore for them and that I was inconveniencing them from whatever they would rather be doing.... I also had an issue on check-in whereby my Booked.net receipt indicated that I had paid in full, whereas the hotel said I had paid only one night via the web-site - this matter remains unresolved!

We had an amazing stay at Kazzhol. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of lighting. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. The highlight of our stay was the big swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. we highly recommend Kazzhol for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
